Covadonga Lakes 4X4

Through 4X4 Touristic Routes, you easily reach the heart of Covadonga Lakes.We set up routes everyday from Cantabria Torrelavega, San Vicente de la Barquera; from Asturias: Llanes and dropping in Cangas de Onis and finally Convadonga Sanctuary. From The Sanctuary (authorization required), we go up to ENOL and ERCINA LAKES, which are the most meaningful places at The National Park of The Peaks of Europe. During snow times, we can recognize a third lake called BRICIAL and the gorgeous fall "Meana".The specialist guides from 4X4 TOURISTIC ROUTES, will find out all the small details of this emblematic source of nature.After 12 kilometers of a narrow and steep climb, with slopes of 14% and 15% unevenness, previously, we have been delighted by a magnificent sight from The Queen balcony where several kind of vultures fly over the blue sky.As soon as we land at 1.000 meters of altitude, THE ENOL LAKE greets usu lovely surrounded by an endless beaty and fresh air from the high mountains. Then we get to ENCINA LAKE and its funny ducks. Up to 1.100 meters, an amazing and lightful dance of colours welcome us. Such a beautiful picture!!!. As the Mines of Buferrera, iron, mercury and magnesium was extracted until 1997. Besides, we wil make some visits to The Picota and The King balconies through a delightful montain track.GROUPS: At least 4 people
