Martyr and patron saint of Mérida.
The monument lies in the middle of the square and was built in honour of the patron saint of Mérida.
The monument lies on top of a square pedestal, and has three cylindrical altar stones that have been artistically finished off by a Corinthian capital. The crowning image is a Medieval representation of the young Eulalia, who is the city's martyr.
