It is located in the region of Galicia in northwest Spain. Its Costa da Morte (Coast of Death) is an area of important marine ecosystems, with steep cliffs, dunes and fishing villages with traditional lighthouses and beaches. The characteristic inland landscape features mountains and green valleys. In the city of A Coruña, the capital of the province, visitors should make a point of visiting the Hercules tower, declared a part of our World Heritage by the UNESCO. Another key visit is Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia, and the final destination on the Way of Saint James –another site with the UNESCO's World Heritage designation– together with the old city of Santiago de Compostela.
