Quite a calling card. Here are a series of plans that we suggest for discovering more about this novelist, poet and playwright in a pleasant and entertaining way. If you click below, you will find instructions on how to follow the Route of Quixote in seven days, on the Route of the Windmills in the area of Toledo (did you know that Don Quixote mistook them for giants?) and information on events relating to Cervantes. Will you take part in the Quixote madness?

If you're coming to Spain, why not come to a city related to Quixote? There are lots of towns that can be associated with this work and, in fact, Castilla-La Mancha suggests a route that is 2,500 kilometres long, goes through 148 towns and has been declared a European Cultural Route by the Council of Europe. You can locate and find information about some of the cities associated with Quixote and Cervantes on the following map.
