Interactive flamenco lecture-demonstration.In Café Ziryab Tablao Flamenco we present the many facets of Flamenco, from the most traditional to contemporary and innovative programs. Our interactive program allows the spectator to enter more fully into the flamenco experience, including theoretical and historical background, an opportunity to learn basic steps and rhythms, and a demonstration with guitar, singing and dance. 1º We begin with a performance by a flamenco guitarist, singer, and dancers. Approximately 40 minutes. 2º The performance is followed by an informal talk outlining the origins, history, and musical forms of flamenco, and by a brief question-answer session. 3º This leads into an introductory class in the basic clapping rhythms and simple steps of flamenco dance. The whole experience lasts approximately one hour and a half. Fees: 30€ per person, minimum 10 – 20 assistants 25€ per person, from 20 – 40 assistants 20€ per person, from 40 - 60 (maximum)Schedule: Our interactive program is designed to start at 18:00.
