Weekend: Robledales de Sierra Madrona (Ciudad Real)

Spend a weekend to know a great extension of the Pyrenean oak and the faun of Sierra Madrona. You will see black vultures and the golden eagle, as well as discovering the area of Parque Natural Valle de Alcudia y Sierra Madrona.
 
Three days in which you will be in contact with the abundant nature of Sierra Madrona.
 
Day 1: Welcome and accommodation
 
We will receive you just next to pantano de Carboneras, in our installations, where you will be amazed from the first second by our wonderful views that the environment gifts us. There is no better way to start this adventure.
 
Day 2: Las Sierpes and oak forests
 
We will start the day on foot going through oak and pine forests till we reach the path of Nacedero y la Chorrera de las Sierpes; being this last one a place of amazing beauty that reminds us of a fairy tale’s scenario.
 
Later on, we will continue uphill, where we will be able to see the area’s fauna like deers and boars, and even griffon and black vultures. And, from this path, we will go from the oak path to the Roble del Abuelo, a centennial oak that impress every visitor.
 
We will go back through the oak path, to have an enjoyable last walk. And we will have lunch in Madronazos doing a picnic. To finish the day, it is possible to visit the town of Fuencaliente, or spend the rest of the day at our center.
 
Day 3: Activities in Arroyo de Carboneras
 
To finish this amazing weekend, we have some adventure activities for you at our installations and in Arroyo de Carboneras; from kayak rides to archery. You will enjoy the last day in the most adventurous way possible in Complejo Turístico Arroyo de Carboneras.
