“Date a Spaniard” App is Taking Online Dating in the US by Storm
SpainDate / Download the new app to “Date a Spaniard”.
María charming Paul with her Spanish guitar.
Juanca and Sam looking to start their lives together!
Luis picking up some Spanish olive oil to cook a tortilla for his date.
Carlos and Jessica searching for the perfect red wine.
You read the headline correctly. Move aside old school dating apps, there’s a new swipe app in town! It’s called Spaindate, and it’s taken the US online dating scene by storm.
Let’s admit it; we’ve all dreamed of getting swept off our feet by a sultry Spaniard. You know, the kind who can charm us with his wit and contagious joie de vivre, serenade us with those sweet sounds of Spanish guitar, cook us tortilla Española when in need of comfort food, and give us that unconditional Spanish love. Well, that far-fetched fantasy of yours might just become a reality sooner than you think…
Only three weeks after its launch date, over 900,000 hopeless romantics have downloaded the app. Within that time, Spanish restaurants in the US have reported a huge sudden boom, completely booking their tables an average of 5 days in advance. And that’s not all! Oddly enough, wine stores have reported a sudden influx in Spanish wine sales, 60% of shops selling out of Spanish wine within the first week of the app’s launch. Coincidence? We think not.
But why would an American be so eager to date a Spaniard? Well, aside from that starry-eyed fantasy we described above, there are hard facts that show Spaniards make great significant others. Aside from their friendly and sociable demeanor, Spain has one of the lowest divorce rates in the world. It also has the lowest infidelity rates, and 80% of spouses reported they were truly happy in their relationship. That is a whopping 40% more than American couples!
So, what are you waiting for? There’s a huge community of eligible Spaniards in the US waiting to be swept off their feet by YOU! We recommend you download Spaindate quickly though…before the Spaniards and dinner reservations run out. ;)
