The National Museum of Decorative Arts is hosting an exhibition of photographs reflecting the evolution of Spanish women through the clothes and accessories of Spanish designers.
Fashion and its ability to reflect the decisions, personality and evolution of women over time is the thematic thread running through this exhibition of 80 photographs selected from the archive of Agencia EFE. These are reportage photos taken over nine decades, without the artificial styling and filters normally associated with fashion photography. They show Spanish fashion in each period through models, artists and well-known figures in different fields who dressed Spain’s feminine revolution from the early 20th century to the present. The exhibition is included in the programme of activities of the festivals Madrid es Moda and Madrid Design Festival.
