The cave paintings of Monte Arabí
The hill of Monte Arabí in Yecla is the site of several rock art ensembles, the most outstanding of which are in Cantos de Visera, the Mediodía cave and the Los Muertos gorge, and El Arabilejo. They were discovered by Juan Zuazo Palacios in 1912. The wide variety of motifs includes human figures, animals, geometric designs and several small idols.
