You can get to know Lugo while you have fun with your family, by taking a dramatised tour of the town’s historic centre and by cruising down the river in a catamaran. That’s why the best time to visit is in July, August and September, when the sunshine beckons you out into the streets, and the kids can let off steam with a range of outdoor activities. You’ll be able to show them the city walls as though they were the heroes of their very own adventure, and you can encourage them to learn all about birds in the Avifauna Information Centre, or about animals from all parts of the world in the large Marcelle Naturaleza park, where children and animals take centre stage.
