The building was originally an 18th-century paper mill and maintains its original structure, with the underground cellars and stone vaulted ceilings, providing the ideal temperature and humidity for producing high quality Cava. It is a family business and visits and activities are guided by the owners themselves. The estate is surrounded by vineyards and green areas, and there are also horse riding facilities. In another building, the old paper-drying area (also 18th-century), there is a room for meetings, catered meals and presentations.
