Ecotourism. ECST (European Charter for Sustainable Tourism) accreditation for certain natural areas.

This museum in Barraco (Avila) merges harmoniously with its surroundings and contains an important zoological collection highlighting the natural diversity of the area. It has around 500 exhibits, including life-size artist's replicas.

The main room houses the most important pieces. There is a recreation of the typical rock formations to be found in this area with replicas of black and griffon vultures, golden and imperial eagles, a peregrine falcon, rock and blue rock thrushes, black wheatears, owls, and reptiles like the gecko. The forest room recreates the characteristics of the two most widespread forest types in the region: oak and pine. In the river room, visitors can see close up what a riverbed is like. Finally, there is also a room dedicated to hunting and fishing.
