Description

The Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas welcomes the exhibition “Herend: The Art of Hungarian Porcelain” which displays the long, almost 200-year artisan tradition of one of the best-known porcelain companies in the world: Hungarikum.

This exhibition shows a selection of historical pieces from the Herend Porcelain Art Museum Foundation and Herend Porcelain Manufactory. Herend was founded in 1826 by Vince Stingl and became one of the largest manufacturers of hand-painted porcelain in Europe. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the values, tradition and innovation of the company's products, exquisite and elegant creations that have made it world renowned.
