Big cities full of Christmas lights and decorations where you can find great shopping; a family holiday for learning about and enjoying our traditions: the Nativity scenes, the delicious turrones, and the magic of the Three Kings; or the fun of Spain’s lively New Year’s Eve, when we end the year with twelve lucky grapes.
Choose your plan and enjoy an unforgettable time in Spain.
Christmas lights illuminate Spain’s cities
Spain is a fiesta of light and colour at Christmas time. Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville… all the main cities are lit up and turn into magical spaces. The trees along avenues are covered in lights, squares are decorated with a star and streets are bathed in colour.
All of this, alongside other Christmas traditions such as markets, the Three Kings greeting children on their thrones, ice skating rinks, carousels, decorative window displays, etc.
From the end of November until the first week of January, Spanish cities are filled with hope and happiness, perfect places for locals and visitors alike.
