The Chillida Leku Museum launches its new exhibition programme of great artists other than Eduardo Chillida with this exhibition showcasing the sculptural work of Antoni Tàpies.
The lives of Tàpies and Chillida shared certain similarities and milestones that converge in determined historical and creative moments. This is one of the reasons for choosing the work of Antoni Tàpies to open the museum’s new exhibition cycle. The exhibition presents a selection of small and large format works, mainly sculptures, created between the 80s and 90s. The pieces establish a dialogue with Chillida’s work and the exhibition's itinerary highlights and explores the parallelisms and convergence between both artists.
