This is the first major exhibition in Spain solely of Picasso's sculpture. The museum is showing a wide collection of sculptures, of different styles, which the artist used to explore the human body through art in general and sculpture in particular.

Wood, bronze, iron, cement, steel or plaster. Picasso used these materials, among others, to create three-dimensional representations of the human body. The artist from Malaga gave sculpture the same importance as painting, engraving or ceramics. “No art is more or less important than the others”, said Pablo Picasso when asked about his works.Come and see “Reclining Bather”, “Personaje” or “Sylvette”. These are some of the great sculptures showcasing Picasso's multiple styles to reflect the beauty of the human body.
