Madrid

Madrid is hosting its first major exhibition dedicated to French painter Claude Monet (1840-1926), considered the father of Impressionism. The exhibition takes a journey through his artistic career, with more than 50 works on display from the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris.

The selection brings together the works that the painter himself was most fond of. With a visit to this exhibition, you will encounter exceptional works such as Portrait of Michel Monet with Pompom Hat (1880) and Train in the Snow or The Locomotive (1875) or London, Parliament, Reflections on the Thames (1905), along with large-format paintings such as his iconic Water Lilies (1917-1920).
