An exhibition of photographs revealing moments in the everyday life of Picasso, both in and outside of his creative process. The lens of the photographer, journalist, writer and documentary filmmaker Roberto Otero is our guide to the exhibition.
The show documents the life of Pablo Picasso from 1961 to 1970, the painter’s final years. It presents a thoughtful selection of images from the archive of over 1,500 photographs of the artist, acquired by the Picasso Museum Malaga in 2005.Over 60 photos reveal Pablo Picasso with friends such as Rafael Alberti and Joan Miró, moments with his wife Jacqueline Roque, or working with clay in his studio. The exhibition also displays three books illustrated by Pablo Picasso.
