Cutting and tasting of Jabugo in Huelva

With this getaway you will learn how to make a good ham cut. This experience takes place in the middle of the Dehesa de la Sierra de Jabugo, declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco, an ecosystem that has a great biodiversity and where livestock farmers and 100% Iberian pigs come together to create a harmony that protects and cares for the environment while respecting every inch of land. Lose yourself in the middle of nature, disconnecting from routine and connecting with yourself in a paradisiacal setting. The sheepfolds, located in rural areas, were focused on the breeding and fattening of Iberian pigs. Located in dehesas, where the pigs fed on pasture and acorns, these areas ensured the quality and distinctive flavour of products such as Jabugo acorn-fed Iberian ham. We offer you the opportunity to stay in old sheepfolds located in the middle of nature, built with traditional materials such as stone or taco bricks cooked in an old brick oven. Enjoy an ecotourism experience and contribute to the conservation of this protected natural area and the local traditions of Jabugo.Includes: - Jabugo PDO ham tasting and slicing course.- Jabugo PDO ham.- Packaging and slicing of ham.- Ecotourist certificate (an experience that will change your perception of the world).- Two nights' accommodation in a standard house.
