The Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon, better known as the Knights Templar, had its presence in Seville although its ban in the fourteenth century nearly wiped out all traces of it.

Did you know that the Templars walked through the streets of Seville for 64 years? From the taking of the city by King San Fernando in 1248, these gentlemen were not mysterious or secret figures, but people of flesh and blood who actively participated in the life of the city. When did they arrive? Why? What did they do during that time? What relations maintained with the people of the city? What traces ldid they leave in the city before their extinction? To all these questions you will find answers in our tour 'The footprint of the Templars in Seville'.
