Agulo is the smallest town on La Gomera.
It is divided into two different zones: the lower area with the neighbourhood of Lepe, and higher part with the houses of Las Rosas, La Palmita, Meriga and Cruz de Tierno.
Agulo town centre, formed by the areas of El Charco, Las Casas and La Montañeta, offers traditional examples of local architecture. The church of San Marcos and Plaza de Leoncio Bento are worth a visit.
The surrounding area of Agulo possesses landscapes of great beauty, such as the viewing point of Abrante, the Agulo valley, or Meriga, in the Palmita ravine.
