Alicante, a place to get away from routine

Alicante is the place you are sure to find that memorable experience you are looking for. You can do anything from getting an adrenaline rush in the theme parks, to relaxing on sleepy beaches while you bask in the sun. The biggest theme park is Benidorm’s Terra Mítica, where you will find a range of thrilling attractions like “Infierno”, which will fly you through the air as you turn and tumble at breakneck speeds. Other options include a day spent in the company of wild animals: swimming with sea lions in the Río Safari, or taking a donkey ride and watching the elephants’ feeding time in Terra Natura. When the sun is at its hottest, you might want to visit one of the area’s many water parks, take a ride in a small boat to the island of Tabarca, or enjoy a day at one of its numerous beaches, many of which feature equipment for playing sports and for young children.
