In the city of A Coruña, the capital of the province, visitors should make a point of visiting the Hercules tower, declared a part of our World Heritage by the UNESCO. Its most important festivals are the International Celtic Music Festival in Ortigueira and the Festivity of Saint James the Apostle, declared of International Tourist Interest. The local gastronomy is renowned for its first-rate shellfish, including products such as barnacles and several varieties of crab.
