The Deusto university campus is in an emblematic area of Bilbao.

The Bilbao campus of Deusto University is located between the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum and the Euskalduna Conference and Music Centre, in the Abandoibarra area. Access to Deusto University from this area is via the Padre Arrupe walkway. Another way of getting into the centre of Bilbao is across the Deusto Bridge. Its oldest building is the Literary University (1886), the work of the Marquis of Cubas, in Classical style. Inside, the building is distributed over two cloisters, with the central staircase standing out especially, along with the Paraninfo Room, the Gothic chapel and the library.

The other large building on the campus is the Commercial University, inaugurated in 1916.
