It took 150 years to build.Gil de Hontañón began work, whose handiwork is the main, North facade, Gothic in style.The delay in its construction meant that this church has several architectural tendencies.The South facade, work of Miguel de Espinosa, and the main facade is Renaissance (Alonso de Tolosa).Other architects worked on it too such as Juan de la Hermosa and Felipe de Berrojo. The building can be considered Gothic.It has three naves with high vaults with twenty columns.Two of these enclose the choir.In it there is the organ of Gregorio González. In the sacristy there are beautiful drawers and two plaster reliefs.The High Reredo by Diego de Suhano, Francisco Pérez and Tomás de Sierra is noteworthy.
