One museum, 1,000 years of art

The MNAC contains works of art from the 10th to the 20th century.

The different collections at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) offer a complete exhibition encompassing all art disciplines (sculpture, painting, drawing, engraving, posters, as well as photography and coin collections). It aims to give a vision of art in Catalonia throughout history, from the Romanesque period to modern times and the avant-garde. The collection features works by artists such as El Greco, Zurbarán, Velázquez, Fortuny, Gaudí, Casas, Torres-García, Julio González, Dalí and Picasso.

Fritt inträde Over 65s, the unemployed, children under 16, and on Saturdays after 3 pm, the first Sunday of every month, 18 May, and 11 and 24 September.
There is a combined ticket (€15) for the churches of Sant Climent de Taüll, Sant Joan de Boí and Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall (also including Santa Maria de Taüll, admission free) and the collection at the National Art Museum of Catalonia (including the temporary exhibitions and a visit to the terrace-observation decks).
