Dynamic, participatory art

The main objective of this art centre is to promote contemporary cultural movements and ideas.

The collections at this museum, located in the centre of the city of Vigo, offer visitors a selection of recent art produced in a broad range of creative disciplines: plastic arts, architecture, video, on-line art, design and fashion. The centre has three exhibition areas: one with national and international exhibits related to contemporary art and culture; another that encourages research and the recovery of avant-garde Galician authors and movements; and a third dedicated to upcoming artists. Frequent talks, conferences and audiovisual displays are held in the museum’s lecture hall.
