The building is of 14th century construction and on the site of a 6th century building.It is inside the walled area.Built with ashlar and masonry.Different styles can be seen in its construction such as Romanesque prominent in the central nave pillars.However, the nave is Gothic, the same as the bell tower. The facade and steps are Baroque. Inside there is a triple apse and on the high altar worthy of mention is a magnificent 16th century reredos, with illustrations of regional Saints.
