How to get there
Getting to Zaragoza is easy. The capital of the Region of Aragon has a strategic location in Spain, almost equidistant (some 300 km) from other major cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao. This means there are various different ways to get here.
By road Zaragoza is connected by means of the AP-2 (to Barcelona) and AP-68 (to Bilbao) motorways, the A-2 dual carriageway (to Madrid), the A-23 Mudéjar dual carriageway and the N-330 (Levante to France dual-carriageway via Zaragoza) and the N-232 (linking Santander, Logroño, Zaragoza and Vinaroz) national roads . Zaragoza also has two ring roads: the Z-40 ring road and the Z-30, which gives improved access to the various districts. The city has a bus station inside the Zaragoza Delicias transport depot, where various passenger transport companies offer services which connect to a wide range of destinations.

By air The International Airport is 10 kilometres from Zaragoza and has scheduled services to Spanish and European cities. You can reach the centre from the airport quickly using a taxi (the fare is about €25), and by bus (€1.85).

Zaragoza is linked by the high-speed railway line (AVE) with Madrid (1 hour and 20 minutes travel time approximately), Guadalajara Yebes, Calatayud, Tardienta, Lleida, Huesca, Barcelona and Camp de Tarragona. The Malaga-Barcelona and Barcelona-Seville AVE limes also make a stop in Zaragoza. Renfe Spain Pass This pass offers the chance to travel around Spain for all non-residents. This system is very practical, as it can be used on all AVE long-distance and mid-distance high-speed trains. The Renfe Spain Pass is valid for one month from the first trip and comes in two formats (Business/Club and Tourist).
