Like any good sports lover you’re bound to feel the attraction of walking, cycling or horse riding along these old railway tracks, today converted into paths. There’s no traffic noise to disturb you, you’re surrounded by gorgeous scenery and there are charming towns and villages along the way. In Spain you will find 1,900 kilometres of these routes located in places all around the country. They will take you through extensive woods, olive groves, orchards… under tunnels or over bridges where you can feel the river beneath your feet… You can stop for a rest in the picnic areas, and you’re bound to come across an old restored railway station which serves as an information point.

You’ll be able to delight in the silence all around you, greet other walkers and feel nature everywhere you look. You can set your own pace, and choose which route to take (from over 100), or which nearby town to stop in.
