Haría is known as “the valley of the thousand palms”.

Haría is a charming town situated in a valley in the northern part of the island of Lanzarote. It is one of the greenest places on the island and possesses a special microclimate which favours the appearance of a great many species of plants. There is a religious museum in the town.
