Więcej informacji

Santiago de Compostela is easily manageable on foot –the historic centre is pedestrianised and the majority of monuments are close together. You can see all the main points of tourist interest with a relaxed walk.

Jak się przemieszczać?

There is a city bus system that will take you comfortably from one part of the city to another. Buses usually run from 7 am-11 pm, although timetables and frequencies vary according to the route. Another option is to use a taxi: they run all day, and are white with the city shield and their license number on the side. You can hail them in the street when the green light is on. Otherwise there are taxi ranks or you can order them by telephone using the radio taxi service. Tariffs are on display inside the taxis and include charges for flag-down, kilometres travelled and other special extras such as night service, public holidays, and train or airport services.

Najlepsza opcja

A single ticket for the bus costs €1 and can be purchased directly from the driver. This means it is a good idea to carry the exact amount or at least loose change. You can also purchase a bus pass with 10, 20 and 30 trips. To purchase one of these passes, besides the amount to be paid, you also have to pay a €3 deposit, refundable on return of the card. The most convenient option?
You can get around Santiago comfortably on foot. Nevertheless, depending on the number of journeys you want to make on public transport, you may want to buy a bus pass, given that the discount means each journey costs only €0.60.

Inne sposoby poruszania się

The Sightseeing Train takes you on a 45-minute trip around the sightseeing area. It costs €6 (€4 for children aged 4 to 12), departs from the Praza do Obradoiro square and runs daily except in the low season, when it only runs at weekends.  For more information:
