The spa is located on the banks of the Yeltes River, surrounded by holm oaks and granite scarps, forming part of a large park. The use of the thermal waters goes back to Roman times, as evidenced by the altar stone found and kept at the spa. The oldest construction dates from 1903. Today, there are modern spa and hotel facilities.
