This museum is dedicated to the industry which for decades was the mainstay of the region’s economy. It has a permanent exhibition based on the historic and artistic collection of the Altos Hornos steelworks factory relating to industrialisation, as well as other exhibits acquired by the museum. It also offers temporary exhibitions on the theme of the iron and steel industry.
