Medina del Campo, in Valladolid, is travelling back to the 15th and 16th centuries for a few days, to remember its heyday.

Different parts of the town such as the Plaza Mayor square, the Reales Carnicerías building, Plaza Segovia square and the area around La Mota Castle will hold Renaissance Week activities. There will be gastronomic activities, markets, dramatised visits to the castle, guided tours of museums and monuments, Royal Court parades, and an "imperial" camp with falconry, exhibitions and re-enactments of historical moments such as "The Burning of Medina".
