The “Schubertiada” is held every year in the village of Vilabertran (Girona province), within the programme of the l’Empordà International Music Festival.

The event focuses on the musical work of Schubert and the German Romantic movement in general. Spanish and international artists come together at the Santa María Church, with concerts interpreting works by this brilliant composer and musician.
