In 1990 the lawyer Lorenzo Rolando de Francisco acquired the Vieite priory and the vineyards surrounding it. In 2006 the Pazo de Vieite vineyard opened a few metres from the priory, where the wines of Viña Farnadás are produced, using a combination of tradition and modernity.
