Partying all night long (after about 4 am)

You can party all night long in Spain, even once the sun has come up. Here are a few ideas to guide you when you set out to enjoy a night out on the town in some of the top Spanish cities for nightlife.

Madrid

Although any time in Madrid is a good time for dancing and meeting people, you’ll find the best atmosphere from Thursdays to Saturdays, starting around midnight. And then you can always head for an after-hours club to carry on partying.
If you're somebody who feels a little peckish after a night out on the town, why not try the Spanish custom of enjoying a delicious cup of hot chocolate with “churros” (hot fritters) sprinkled with sugar while you watch the sun come up? You’ll love it!

Barcelona

A good way to enjoy the nightlife on offer in Barcelona is by dancing to all hours of the night to the latest techno sounds. The nightclubs in Barcelona are famous all over the world for their electronic music. Many of the top names on the music scene come to deejay in the city’s discos. In areas such as Eixample and Sant Gervasi – Santaló there are numerous venues where techno sounds can be heard all night long.

Ibiza

Endless nights, unlimited fun, an anything-goes atmosphere which is famous all over the world... Ibiza has everything you need to guarantee you have the best holiday ever, surrounded by people like you, making new friends and dancing all through the night until the sun comes up.
Ibiza nights are unforgettable, which is why thousands of people flock to the island every year. You’ll have a great time in some of the best clubs on earth, with music from famous DJs to dance the night away.
The party lasts all night long, but it still won’t seem long enough. After just one night, you’ll understand why Ibiza’s nightlife is so famous and you’ll want to experience it again. You’ll meet loads of people looking for a fun time, and you might even bump into some of the celebrities who come to Ibiza to enjoy the atmosphere of its outdoor terraces and discos.

Gay scene: The island’s “gay route” includes numerous venues and terraces located in Ibiza’s harbour, along the Ses Figueretes seafront promenade and in Calle Ramón Muntaner. You’ll find several restaurants and the Ánfora disco, with an exclusively gay vibe, in the old part of the town of Dalt Vila. And of course there are also special sessions in the big discos like Space or Amnesia.

Valencia

In the province of Valencia you’ll find some of the most famous discos in Spain, especially on the route from Valencia to Cullera, in beachfront locations where the music plays all night long.

Benidorm

As the night advances into the early hours in Benidorm, the party moves to the big discos on the outskirts of the town, on the Altea road. Penélope, Ku, Km and Privilege are just some of Benidorm’s hottest nightspots.
