Navarre wines are, in general, aromatic, with flavours that are almost fruity, with a good balance between alcohol content and acidity, smooth on the palate. The whites have yellowish tones, fine aromas, with a crisp taste. The rosés, for their part, are rightly renowned for of their unmistakable character: they are dry, crisp and delicate. The red wines produced with this Designation of Origin are equally exquisite. The most popular grape in use in the region is the Garnacha variety.
