Nights in Granada are one long party. A night on the town usually begins with a few tapas. Young people tend to frequent the Pedro Antonio de Alarcón area, and there are also traditional tapas bars in the city centre, for example on the streets near Plaza Nueva square and the Cathedral. Having gathered your strength, it's time to enjoy some music, meet people and have a few drinks until the early hours. Calle Elvira street and the surrounding area offer all kinds of bars, from places where you’ll dance the night away to all the latest hits, to pubs with alternative music, rock and jazz clubs.
You can continue partying not very far away in one of the night clubs on the Gran Vía, Paseo de los Tristes and Plaza Nueva square. There are also discos and trendy night spots near the Bullring. And as dawn approaches, everyone heads off to the macro-discos and after hours bars on the outskirts of the city.
