The heart of the Monastic complex of Santa María de Vilabertrán is organised around a trapezoidal plan cloister. To the north of the latter lies the church, of a basilica plan with three naves, the central nave topped with a barrel vault and the fourth with sphere-shaped sides.The sanctuary has three circular apses.
