The Cazorla International Theatre Festival has been held since 1996. The event takes place in theatres and on open-air stages around this town in the province of Jaén.

This festival is a meeting point for theatre lovers, whether of large-scale productions or of smaller-scale works. The event includes different shows by major, internationally recognised playwrights. Apart from the official awards, there is also an audience award. Spectators can vote for their favourite performance.
