Every year Alicante keeps its standing appointment with contemporary chamber music.

This festival is organised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport through the INAEM, and is a key date for all lovers of new chamber music. Its aim is to familiarise the public with the most avant-garde musical creation through a wide range of musical ideas, and includes other activities such as radio creations, performance art, audiovisual performances and workshops on the theme of musical creation. Several spaces such as the Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA) and the Teatro Principal theatre serve as venues for this festival.
