Built under Philip V to keep the launches and vessels that were used by the Court to sail the Tajo river. The original building, destroyed during the War of Independence, was rebuilt in 1966 and became the Museum of Royal Launches. The museum exhibits vessels from the River Tajo Fleet that date from the 18th to the 19th centuries, along with nautical instruments from the reign of Charles III.
