Casas de Oficios y Casas de Infantes - Casas de Oficios and Casas de Infantes buildings
Annexed dwellings of El Escorial.
Both architectural sites are perfectly integrated with the harmony of El Escorial Monastery. The Official houses are dedicated to the needs of the monarchy, and were built by Juan de Herrera. They lie between Floridablanca street and the Monastery's façade. Juan de Villanueva built the Princes' Houses in the eighteenth century which also blend in with the overall architectural style of the rest of the buildings. The Cultural Institute of San Lorenzo currently lies in this area.Om te komen
