The Spanish National Library is celebrating 300 years of history with an extensive programme of activities throughout 2012.
In order to celebrate its 300th anniversary, the Spanish National Library is organising a series of cultural events which include, amongst others, activities, exhibitions, concerts, conferences and drama. The programme includes, for example, a reunion of writers who have received the Cervantes Award and will read from their texts.
To close the year of celebrations, there will also be an International Reunion of Hispanists, in which all the top specialists in various areas of Hispanic culture will be present.
