The castle is located in the strategic area of the town, at the highest point.The building was a castle and palace at the same time, joined together by an interior patio.The castle has a quadrangular plan with thick walls.The entrance in the main façade is noteworthy for its reduced dimensions, decorated with an arch framed in an alfiz crowned with the imperial coat of arms.It has been refurbished and is now a Parador.
