Make the most of winter this year to plan a trip to Spain and have fun in its ski resorts. You’ll find over 30 ski resorts spread over much of the country. In fact, Spain is the second most mountainous country in Europe and has some fantastic areas for skiing, including the Pyrenees in the north and the Sierra Nevada in the south. We’ll tell you the most important news for this season.

It couldn't be any other way! You’re in Spain and here we like to eat well. The culinary options on offer at ski resorts include star products like Iberian ham, good wines, and locally hunted game. This year, some resorts are also expanding their more casual dining options, like the new ski-burger restaurant at Espot ski resort (Lleida province), or the food truck at the top of the chairlift in Puerto de Navacerrada ski resort (Community of Madrid).

  • Joint ski passes for several resorts

These are an excellent option for skiing at different ski resorts this winter. For example, you can get a single pass for skiing at the resorts at Cerler,Formigal-Panticosa and Candanchú (all three are in the Aragonese Pyrenees). You also have this option for the ski resorts of the Catalan Pyrenees: La Molina, Vall de Núria, Vallter 2000, Espot, Port Ainé, and Tavascan. A pass will also let you combine days in the snow in the Asturias ski resorts of Fuentes de Invierno and Valgrande – Pajares.

  • Pirouettes, pirouettes!
