Minorca, a natural paradise for sports
Sailboat in Cales Coves (Minorca)
During a holiday in Minorca you can experience all kinds of thrilling adventures in a unique natural environment. You can practice exhilarating water sports such as water skiing, or canyon descent… you can go kayaking, scuba dive down to explore fabulous landscapes on the sea bottom, or cycle to idyllic coves. There are six perfectly signposted cycle-touring routes on the island, and this is a great option for exploring many of the most attractive spots, as they pass through the typical scenery of Minorca (green meadows surrounded by dry stone and with views of the sea).
You’ll also find numerous paths for exploring the island on foot. There are routes for all levels, and many of them curl around the coast, taking you through charming fishing villages, ideal for water sports, as are the 300 kilometres of coastline full of unspoilt natural spaces.
