It forms part of the main beach in Roses, along with Rastrell and Salatar. This beach was recently refurbished. The sand comes from San Pere Pescador Beach. Located in the centre of Roses, it has open-air bars, restaurants, lifeguard service, car-park, sun lounger hire and a Red Cross post. Nearby, on the neighbouring Rastell Beach, boat trips are organised.
